2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Base Manual
This customer originally came in because the car would not start. He stated the car died and would not turn back on, so he had it towed to us. We performed a cylinder leak down test, and found out there was zero compression.
When we started to dissameble the motor, we found a destroyed tappet on cylinder 1 and evidence of the cam hitting the head. Unfortunately, the head wasn't salvageable. The customer decided to replace the head and other components with the following parts.
